School Working Bee - Sunday
Kia ora koutou Parents and Whānau,
This is a quick reminder that our next School Working Bee is happening this coming Sunday, 19 July, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Our school grounds are the heart of our community, and keeping them vibrant, safe, and engaging for our tamariki is a true team effort. Whether you can spare just an hour or stay for the full morning, your time and energy make a massive, tangible difference to our kura!
To say a small thank you for your hard work, morning tea will be provided to keep everyone fueled up and hydrated.
We have a variety of tasks lined up for all skill levels. If you are able to help out, please take a look at the projects below and consider bringing along any of the listed tools if you are able to:
Boxing of Gardens (Carpark & Native Garden): Skill saw or drop saw, drill, level, sledgehammer, trailer
Spreading of Bark: Shovels, wheelbarrows
Clearing Paths: Leafblowers
Weeding: Gardening gloves
An event like this relies entirely on the wonderful community spirit we have here at Fernside. Thank you so much in advance for your partnership, your time, and your continued support.
We look forward to seeing you there—many hands make light work!
